Dogwood Dell Consignment

Dogwood Dell is a consignment shop for womens and kids clothing in Exeter, NH. When the owner started the business, she was looking for an upscale business design with a southern flare. She grew up in Virginia and wanted a nod to her roots with the brand. It needed to have an approachable and professional look, focused on women as the target audience.

A “dell” is a small, secluded, wooded valley or hollow, often grassy and partially covered with trees. The dogwood tree is a symbol of the south that has beautiful flowers on it while in bloom. The feminine look that we were looking for fit this mold With this in mind, the focus became using the flower as the main icon for the logo. The typeface is called Beauport, again emphasizing the southern style.
