Gospel City Fellowship

Gospel City Fellowship is a Presbyterian church based out of Portsmouth, NH. It started because a small group of families and individuals were drawn together by the Lord in 2024 with a shared dream of seeing a new faithfully reformed, outward-facing church come into being that would thrive for generations. Their mission is to join God in pointing themselves and their city to the truth of the gospel. They desire to cultivate a community where a soft and tender heart and a strong theological backbone go together hand-in-hand.

The lead pastor approached me looking for a logo that would emphasize openness and a welcoming atmosphere. The capital G makes up the smaller letters “C” & “J” standing for Christ Jesus, the essence of the gospel. The font chosen was Montserrat, which is a popular sans-serif typeface, especially among the church community. Its form is fairly geometric and has high legibility, even at smaller sizes.
